ron topp
founder and ceo
the founder of  omni, ron has had a distinguished career in industry and commerce since his graduation from the university of illinois with a bachelor of science in  metallurgical engineering.

from his student days at the university of illinois, to his record as the youngest senior manufacturing research engineer at one of the largest aerospace companies, ron has continued to build a vast and valuable pool of knowledge.

as holder of numerous patents and winner of significant awards, ron is equally adept in the plant and in the offices.  his experience as an engineer, marketing representative, company president and entrepreneur, offer both customers and principals a pool of knowledge and business acumen.

rhonda mccoy
outside sales

outside sales attracted rhonda immediately after graduating from the university of wisconsin with a degree in biology.

after arriving in san diego, she has spent the past twelve years representing a large area distributor building her territory from the smallest to the largest gross dollars within her area.

rhonda concentrated her efforts in the hi-tech areas of computer peripheral, satellite communication, medical instrumentation and military electronics.  working with managers, engineers and purchasing she always sees that the customer’s needs are met.

dedication to the customer and quality service has helped make rhonda the success she is today.


tony devico
outside sales

tony is a thirty-six year veteran of the electronics industry, with experience ranging from procurement to strategic sales and corporate marketing.

tony worked at arrow electronics, one of the world’s largest electronic component distributors,  following a ten year career in procurement.  he quickly graduated from the role of salesperson into the ranks of management at arrow.  while at arrow, tony headed local sales divisions, helped create and educate arrow’s first training and leadership courses, created and implemented strategic sales programs and supervised regional and strategic sales organizations.

after twenty six years of service with arrow electronics, tony retired, but was coaxed out of retirement by omni to head their sales and marketing efforts.


jim trussell
outside sales

jim is a graduate of the devry institute of technology where he earned a bseet.  his professional career started at hughes aircraft as a subcontract administrator, buying mostly complex interconnect product. he got his first taste of sales from the buyer's side of the equation, in dealing with suppliers and reps.  following those seven years at hughes, jim made the transition into his new found career, sales.   gaining valuable sales experience with a few passive component manufacturers and distributors,  he joined the ranks of outside sales.  having worked both directly for a fabricator and also as a manufacturer's representative, jim is more clearly focused and knowledgeable then some manufacturers representatives may be. 

 jim has nine years of outside sales experience under his belt and finds great joy in working with engineers and purchasing with his unique, professional approach to supporting the customer's needs. as jim proclaims, "i work for the customer".  his main areas of expertise are interconnects, such as printed circuit boards, rigid flex, flex circuits, cable assemblies, custom cabling and custom connectors.  with his background and sales skills, jim is able to focus his efforts in aerospace, defense, medical, computer, memory and industrial fields.
